Have you ever been wanting to have a watch that you really want, but after being able to own it, you tried to find another "new target" then accomplished it, then that watch that you really want got replaced by that "new target" and eventually forgotten? ...

The limited number of production was a pretty bonus! Well I'm more into bumper seamaster calendar than the 5xx series and it's pretty rare to come by

Never seen a deluxe seamaster before (both online and at the omega journey through the time, or I just missed it there ) ! And those indexes are thicc! Thanks, Art! I've learn something new! 😄 That have to be a solid gold right?

. . . yes, it's a heavyweight - 18 kt yellow gold. The 'DeLuxe' Seamasters were a Norman Morris line . . . export models intended for the US market, mostly with American-made cases. Not to be confused with 'Grand Luxe' Connies produced in Switzerland for ... 

Do they have the catalogue for the American market? Seems like they have a lot of collection that I'm not aware of... Would be fun to learn about all of them. 😄

But you gotta have a good tough nail on standby, cz the crown is inside and the clip is pretty stiff to open only to wind the watch. Well... It's pretty fun though..
