TURLER signed early 1950's OMEGA Seamaster Automatic Chronomètre (cal. 352)
Türler signed OMEGA Seamaster Automatic Chronomètre
352 (17 jewels) adjusted
- Movement serial 12 3XX XXX
- Case serial 11 0XX XXX
(ref. markings inside 2577 / 2520
SC) 18K/.750 Gold
I find the TÜRLER retailer brand name placed unusually high on this early 1950’s Omega watch dial (see photo).
Typically (on all other TÜRLER marked dials of the time I've spotted in auction catalogs and over the web) the retailer markings are printed below or lower than the watch manufacturer brand name on the dial.
- Can any WatchProSite expert confirm that "Türler-on-top" OMEGA dials have existed? (perhaps photos showing other examples)
Türler Schmuck & Uhren AG of Zürich, Switzerland do offer evaluation and confirmation of such markings etc. for a fee (200 - 600 CHF) and require the complete watch to be delivered to their experts. I imagine return shipping cost is included in the final fee.

I’m no expert on these.....
.....but aesthetically it just seems like a really strange place on the dial to place the retailers name. I hope one of the guys on the forum are able to answer your question. Certainly an intriguing watch. Regards Chris
TURLER font and placement on dial
Clearly two types of fonts used by Türler on Omega dials; - serif typeface - sans serif Typical placement of brand name on dial becomes quite clear with the photo combo. ...
Some 50's looking but modern Omega acessories added....
My "Türler-on-top" Omega got recently some modern accessories; - a very 1950's looking leather strap (Omega ref. 032VEST1816O) - a wonderful raised Omega logo, solid 18k/Au750 gold (still in wrap), pin buckle (Omega ref. 94511606) (plus a gold plated 50's...
Ah, the full ensemble! . . .
. . . very much the same here, with vintage buckles on many of my Omegas. The most recent adventure was hunting down a pink gold Sixties buckle for my latest addition, a '49 ref 2494. Let it suffice to say the seller was pleasantly surprised by the attent...
A fine Loewe box to suit.....
My "Türler-on-top" now has a nice 50's Omega box by Loewe , in addition to the small Türler box. Next I am walking in circles awaiting re-start of the Omega Archive Service after their move to new premises. ...
Omega 18k buckle close up....
Both sides of the modern 18k/Au750 yellow gold buckle (Omega ref. 94511606). And the LOEWE box from other sides..... ...
