Threw in the White Towel - New Arrival . . .

Aug 18, 2019,13:20 PM

I was thrilled when Omega announced it's 1957 Trilogy 60th Anniversary collection. After debating between and Speedmaster and the Seamaster 300, I decided to pull the trigger on the Speedmaster. However, over the last couple of years, I'm amazed to continue to see the Railmaster and the Seamaster 300 in the cases. I've seen approximately a dozen Seamaster 300's at ADs throughout the US this year alone.

I really love this current trend on re-issues, especially, those pieces that pay tribute to dive and pilot watches. The Trilogy Semaster 300 has been tugging at my heart for a while now. Well, today, I decided to throw in white towel and took the plunge:

Love the Omega symbol on the doomed sapphire crystal! However, I've learned it's not the easiest watch to take photos of, especially in the natural light.

Well, I guess this confirms I made the right decision back in 2017! ;D

Have a good week!

Mark

I have (and love) the Railmaster and Speedmaster. The 60th Seamaster has me mesmerized by it's siren song. Thanks for the push.

😂 There was never any doubt!

I love mine. There are many strap options to play with, till you find the one you like the most. I think the black Tropic looks great, maybe because that's what our Nico has taught us through the years, sharing his beautiful pictures. I'm pretty sure that...
