Omega Chronometer Ref 2366. Too bad it had a refinished dial.
My heart started to beat faster when I saw this 2366.
Sadly, the dial was redone, beautifully redone, yes, but redone.
The big pro of this reference is that it is a big case ( 35, 5 mm ). Which looks even bigger in the real.
The other big advantage is that it looks terrific, beautiful, with this dial.
No need to mention the movement, it is a reference among chronometers.
I am still on the run after something like that...

I'm not sure how the dial looked before hand.......
But I like/prefer the re-finished look of this one. I'm a novice when it comes to vintage pieces, why are re-finished dials in general so bad? Tony
Here's a quick 'n dirty of my ref 2366, Tony . . .

I'm guessing that dial is unfinished? It looks great for its age. In any event I have my 2nd vintage piece potentially on the way, I'll make sure to get good details on the condition of the dial before I buy it. I'm really having fun learning the vintage ...

. . . of printed Roman ref 2366 (left) . . . . . . and equivalent ref 2364. 35.5 mm vs 33 . . . otherwise identical in every respect. After a few days on my wrist, still not sure as to which I prefer . . . ...
