My wrist, Ploprof courtesy Beverly Center Omega Boutique. First impression was overwhelmingly positive: the asymmetrical shape has always been a positive exception to the usual rule dictating against large designs. Stir the lightness of titanium into the mix to make a hugely compelling watch. And I came close, when it was introduced four years ago.
But before I could take the plunge, Omega announced the 60th anniversary Rail, and the rest is history. If I had it to do all over again, I would've popped for the Ploprof and waited for a proper manual wind Rail.
