Thinking of buying the Omega Worldtimer in Stainless Steel or the new Chronoscope, any input is much appreciated.

I do not have any worldtimer, I do have some chronographs.  To me, the worldtimer is one of the best value from a major brand while the new chronoscope is manual wind which I like a lot.  I only have the Speedmaster professional of the discontiuned model called the sapphire sandwich.  And this is the only Omega I have now.  So I am asking Omega enthusiasts or collectors to give me some input for me to take the plunge.

Thank you in advance.

Personally, I would go for the Chronoscope …

. . . earlier this year. If the complication is personally compelling and since your chronograph collection is already stocked, my hunch is that in the near term Omega's take on world time would offer a greater sense of satisfaction. Art ...

and yet I don’t own either. I will say that being a world timer implies that you might want to travel with it. For me the water resistance isn’t adequate on the Chronoscope to swim although some may disagree which is why I might choose the Worldtimer. Bot...
