. . . so doubtful.  I have seen rg's fitted to cases they didn't belong in, usually the result of a scrapped case resulting in an extraneous movement that consequently found its way into a watch that required a replacement.

. . . of the reference number, but it appears to be a jumbo ca mid-'50s. Can you take photos of the inner caseback and movement? Finding a correct original dial will prove difficult; there's little point in looking for hands before correcting the dial. If...
