There are five 30T2rg's in my collection, Nicolas - four ref 2364 . . .

. . . and a ref 2366, which is now at my watchmaker's for corrections to the keyless works. A correct tap 6 crown tube and original stem combined with a vintage Hamilton crown will soon be winding the movement.
A prior watchmaker made alterations to fit a correct crown, which led to an obviously altered appearance. A pity the crown will no longer be correct, but at least the fit won't be compromised.
The current gap between crown and case can be seen in this photo.

When I saw this photo taken by the seller, I assumed the crown was in the 'out' position. It wasn't until after acquisition that the issue became apparent. My watchmaker serviced the movement three years ago but didn't correct the prior modifications as I assumed the crown was original. It wasn't until I'd been able to investigate further that the full extent of the problem was brought to light. And yes, I paid a premium for this ref 2366 on the assumption it was entirely original and correct. Had I known about the alterations, I would've offered somewhat less.
