Thanks for sharing a very interesting piece! I'd be curious to see one in the metal, including this new "Moonshine" gold...is it closer to rose or yellow in the real? Cheers. [nt]

This is not my kind of watch, but i do like the marriage of the red with the gold.

I like it a lot .... BUT

Same 3861 movement but 6900 Pieces? Price is about 1/3 of this Moonshine Gold one.

6900 is a lot

Way too much for a LE But still looking forward to it

That would be the one . . .

. . . to go for. Art

I wonder if the US marketing people were consulted...

...about the name of the gold. 'Moonshine' has a particular connotation over here I'm not a gold watch person - or a $32K Speedmaster person - but it's a cool reissue of an historically significant Speedmaster. I'm sure it'll sell well.

I had always loved the 1969 orioginal Model of which this new release is a Tribute to. I will like very much to own one. The price is very high indeed...

... but the model is historical significative IMHO. I feel this is a Great release from Omega!!

Very nice watch

Apparently with nice touches and details to it. A new gold alloy is the icing on the cake.

Not bad looking. [nt]

I think this is a nice re-issue of the original 18k LE back then. I still hope we‘ll get a nice....

 By: HSTE : March 12th, 2019-15:27
.....50 years Apollo XI issue in steel and potentially one in white gold with leather strap. That would be cool. Let’s see. I am not concerned about the number of pieces produced in the so called LE as I consider anything north of 500 to 1000 pieces as NO...

I'm with you and would even go lower, say 100 pcs.

Whatever the number, this is a nice one even for a white metal guy. Like many here, I hope to see a steel version. M4

One of the Omega Boutiques contacted me

 By: reintitan : March 12th, 2019-17:28
and said that they don't yet have any info on the SS version, but that they are taking partial deposits to get allocated one to be settled for the full amount once the details are officially announced. They said the entire amount is fully refundable. But ...

Rumblings are that this cal. 3861 with silicon balance (non-magnetic) and Co-axial escapement with chronometer rating (Master Chronometer)

 By: reintitan : March 12th, 2019-17:32
will replace the in the normal Speedy Pro, while the revived cal. 321 will be left for the real limited editions. By LE, I'm assuming Omega means under 10,000 units...LOL

The red bezel with the yellow gold is a killer color combo!

Like it a lot.

If I ever go for an all gold piece...

This could very well be it! I like it a lot, from the photos I have seen. It rivals anything else I have seen from other purveyors. Would be very curious to see it in the metal. Cheers Drew

This one is also beautiful...

Not sure I’ve seen anything about it on this site. What are your thoughts? Looks to be reasonably priced. Love the red gold! Photo taken from omega site ...
