These two are from the 1894 Homage series . . .

. . . produced in the mid-'90s with Ω cal 269 and 286 NOS movements made in the '50s.  Highly desired by Omega aficionados.

This is the first watch Omega made with a movement regulated by a co-axial escapement.

Produced in rose gold (as shown here) with a very dark blue dial, yellow and white gold with a white dial, and platinum with salmon dial.  As close to a Daniels as you'll ever get without actually getting a Daniels.

This would be the Omega Museum Collection . . .

. . . Petrograd limited edition, ca '05.  One of the alphabet soup gang members owns an example.

Rare and rarely seen: Omega perpetuals from the early '90s.

I might be mistaken, but seem to recall the blue/transparent dial as a limited edition for Japan, while the Louis Brandt model with engraved dial was a limited production item for the rest of the world.

Spring Cleaning my Omega Files, Part 1

Art & other Omega lovers, I had a CD full of photos from early 2000's. So let's say about 20 years ago. It came from a guy who really had a love for Omegas (Minervas, IWC, EPOS, Sinn, Grand Seiko). I hate to toss these photos because I don't know if t...

...but the 'forced' Omega symbol kind of ruins it for me...

The seconds hand give it a stylized Egyptian Ankh look to me.

As though the ancient Egyptians had their own technological revolution and made it to the moon with an Ankh Speedmaster rather than an Omega one as in our reality.

Have you ever seen an Omega central in operation? . . .

. . . the effect is remarkable, and one of the reasons why it's my candidate for the perfect watch. Fourth-generation central tourbillons have a slinkier motion, almost like locomotive wheels.

Sounds awesome [nt]

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video clip . . .

. . . is priceless. The commentary is superfluous . . . mute the volume setting on your computer.

Yes, since '11 or '12, if memory serves correct. Commonly referred to as . . .
