Speedy Crystal
Nov 08, 2019,19:57 PM
As a recent buyer of a Speedy Pro, I think that the hesalite crystal is the way to go. I tried on both versions of the Speedy and the dial just popped when looking at it through hesalite. I think Omega should offer the “3572” for those who like hesalite on the front and sapphire on the back. And maybe a movement choice, 1861 or 1863, to view. And, of course, leave the “original” as is.

Hiding that beautiful movement is a shame. If only Omega did a haselite crystal at the front and a sapphire one on the back.
You, sir, are in luck!

I definitely get the appeal of the plastic crystal, but the movement is so nice to see and the sapphire has an appeal of its own.
I had one but sold it

It’s nice. The movement does look good. I prefer the case back. Kind of wish the new seamaster still came with solid backs as well
