Yes it was and thank you Nicolas. This was in every respect an odd year for my watch passion and not a typical year either! I dont usually get so many new pieces in a year...
Hard to believe a year ago i had only one watch left in my “collection” (i guess it is no longer a collection with one watch) and I even tried to see if I could live with only one watch. It lasted 3 months and I guess you guys know the rest! Truth be told...

Congrats to a cool S M Racing! I find the use of orange very fitting to the theme. Still, I have got the sneakibg suspicion the Bond will also come?
Not yet dear Count! I resisted! I hesitate because one dive watch are not my favorite and second titanium watch are too light for me (like to feel some weight on the wrist)...
That said the vintage feel of the 007 is still very tempting

There are so many great variations of the Speedmaster out there — it simply remains to pick the one (or more 😉) that speaks to you. I think this a great version, and I dig the orange accents — distinctive and interesting! it definitely has its own charact...
Thanks Moana43. In a way this is a nice thing about speedmasters. Some might say there are too many variant, but other would see an opportunity to find you like!
I personally prefer that to other alternative from some competitor where choices are ... well very limited, assuming you can find one
