Hi all: I may have an opportunity to pick up a 45th Anniversary Silvery Snoopy (white dial, "what would you do in 14 seconds?" etc.). Does anyone here have thoughts on that model ... or, better yet, photos?

Comes with a Snoopy pin and newspaper. Are you getting it for 3-4x retail of $7350 😱? ...  

But some other lucky guy will get it. I’ve bought WAYYYY too many watches lately.

Rumors there may another Snoopy coming, 50/50 chance is what I heard so far.

It started with a Geneva auction last year which jacked up the price >$20k and had stuck up there since...I don’t understand why but it’s good for owners I guess 😬

. . . to capture collectors' interest. My candidate for 'most likely to succeed' was the meteorite dial Apollo-Soyuz 35th from 2010. Yes, they're trading for more than list today, but not double, much less triple. ;-)

I've decided to take a pass.

The watch I looking at has a price tag attached, so I knew going into this what the market price is. The question for me is whether this high valuation is more absurd than, say, the high valuation of the comparable Rolex model.
