Omega

SMs and Cons

I have a number of different Omegas in my collection but I always seem to be attracted to Seamasters and Constellations.  For me they epitomize all the things that are good about vintage Omegas - style, quality, performance, longevity, value, history, ……….I could go on and on enthusing but here are some of mine.

Bottom row, L to R:

1949 gold filled Seamaster 2577 cal 351,

1952 steel Seamaster 2627 cal 355,

1954 gold/steel Constellation 2782 cal 354

Top row L to R:

1964 gold Seamaster 165(5)003 cal 552,

1964 steel Constellation 167.005 cal 551,

1965 gold Constellation 168(5)004 cal 561

I wonder why it is that I can't find anything modern that appeals as much but funnily enough it seems that somewhere along the long distant past, Omega and others have lost the plot.

Cheers

Andrew
