The human mind is wired to appreciate symmetry, or so I'm given to understand. If that's the case, there can be no more perfect way to tap that sentiment. What a beautiful, beautiful thing you have there.

very well put . Thank you

A huge +1!

thank you

 By: EdwardL : November 6th, 2021-02:43

They sort of do... But it's a shadow of the original.

 By: BigFatPauli : November 3rd, 2021-12:30
Not to mention the lack of a 30t2rgsc. ...

Damn damn date!

 By: amanico : November 3rd, 2021-13:05

Omega heard your feedback and wanted to draw your attention away from the date window...

 By: BigFatPauli : November 3rd, 2021-13:29
Problem solved... Ugh. WHY DID YOU DO THIS OMEGA!?!? ...

They aren't all bad. Omega still makes many, many wonderful watches.

 By: BigFatPauli : November 5th, 2021-02:14
These watches do leave a little to be desired, though. I certainly WANT to love them, but don't.

Well said.

I am with you, here.

 By: amanico : November 5th, 2021-05:49

I certainly miss my RG Homage 1894

If it had the 30t2 Movement, I'd still have it. This original is the best ;-) Hell, all originals are best!

absolutely

 By: EdwardL : November 6th, 2021-02:46

Very well said Miki

 By: EdwardL : November 6th, 2021-02:46

I love this watch, it's such a shame that the dials were so delicate...

 By: BigFatPauli : November 3rd, 2021-12:31
As so few pristine ones exist.

Are the dials on the JLC delicate? I know with my Omega 30t2....

 By: BigFatPauli : November 3rd, 2021-18:06
Even just touching the dial damaged it. Look at mine between 3 and 4 there is a notch missing on the outer chapter ring from a watch maker just touching it. ...

What do you mean by notches, exactly?

 By: BigFatPauli : November 3rd, 2021-18:30
Here is mine: There is certainly corrosion. It was my grandfathers watch - he was the first owner - and wore it everyday. ...

+++1

 By: amanico : November 3rd, 2021-18:35

Thank you. I am extra lucky because I am my grandfathers namesake...

 By: BigFatPauli : November 3rd, 2021-19:05
So the watch was technically sold to me (at least my name).

Excellent!

 By: amanico : November 3rd, 2021-22:43

Ah, excellent, thank you.

 By: BigFatPauli : November 3rd, 2021-19:06

agree

 By: EdwardL : November 25th, 2021-09:40

True. thanks

 By: EdwardL : November 6th, 2021-02:47

Thanks for sharing yours, Edward. A comparison against the two examples . . .

 By: Dr No : November 3rd, 2021-14:43
. . . posted a few days ago should be confirmation enough they've been altered. There are six in my collection; a few have replacement crowns, and one has a balance assembly from a donor rg movement, but they're all essentially correct. My ref 2366 . . . ...

A movement that actually fits the case...

...those were the days : )
