It was love at first sight for this salmon dial beauty with a tropical patina and blued steel hands. It’s a relatively rare 37.5mm “jumbo” from 1947. The steel case is very slim on the wrist. The model is 2580-2505 with a Cal. 265 movement.

Good to see it on a fellow purist’s wrist. Enjoy your watch in good health mate. I kept it in the drawer during my ownership, and rarely made it to my wrist, maybe only for a few photos Best Gatsby

Very satisfying to know that I own a piece that was once owned by a WIS with impeccable taste! I’ll take good care of it.

I still have the other one ;-)

I love these old Omegas - so many different dial combinations to choose from, great movements and generally modern looking. Good value too most of the time. Yours is special indeed

Thank you, Nico!
