There were probably tens of thousands of reference 168.015 produced.  A handful were made with unique two-tone dials for Japan in 1968.  This example is the first I've seen in the metal.

Not mine; it belongs to community member davudvl.  On its way to our watchmaker tomorrow for needed repair and servicing before performing wrist duty.

I've seen other versions . . .

. . . but his is the first gold center with black periphery and script I've come across.  Onyx markers framed with gold, capped case . . . polished but otherwise original.
