Of the Apollo 11 Moonshine...worth showcasing again.

Do you think Omega has shown improvements with the looks of these newer movements?

Thanks my friend...I am waiting for the 321 Ed White so I can make a comparison...

From official pictures that 321 also looks good.

+1 I was determined to get this one

 By: redcorals : September 26th, 2020-16:48
as it is obv much more appealing than any Daytonas. but then Omega got 321 back just 5-6months after this release. Now I keep thinking why wud they bungle up 50th Special and not put 321 in there. It wud have been a real deal (reissue). Doesn't take away....

The new 321 is taking much longer to deliver since itโ€™s limited production ...

 By: Clueless_Collector : September 26th, 2020-17:29
Since each is assembled by the same watch maker and the COVID shutdown has limit their production even further. To put them in the Apolloโ€™s will really delay delivery. Iโ€™m expecting mine anytime soon, 2nd one in the boutique....1st one only arrived last m...

Hope i can get one

wonderful watch. Had the pleasure to see it and try it in person

To answer your question: . . .

 By: Dr No : September 26th, 2020-17:33
. . . yes.

They must be...

 By: Clueless_Collector : September 26th, 2020-17:36
Paying attention to social media raves and reviews ๐Ÿ˜‚

If 'they' were really paying attention to us . . .

 By: Dr No : September 26th, 2020-17:40
. . . the 60th Rail would've had a manual-winding movement. ๐Ÿ˜‰

At the rate my stocks are dropping . . .

 By: Dr No : September 26th, 2020-18:09
. . . let's make it the 75th.

Lol... same here...but wait, itโ€™s a bull market and indexes are hitting records, no???

Whereโ€™s all the money went and from? Oh...it went to the top 0.1%

Yes! Yes! I did it! :) [nt]

 By: Clueless_Collector : September 26th, 2020-17:56

Damnedest thing is, I'm still hankering for a -74 . . .

 By: Dr No : September 26th, 2020-18:08
. . . with a stepped dial.

Go for it ๐Ÿ‘ [nt]

 By: Cpt Scarlet : September 27th, 2020-02:27

A -74 is near the top of the list, Captain. . . .

 By: Dr No : September 27th, 2020-09:38
. . . maybe someday ;-) . . .

Why a '74...

 By: MikiJ : September 27th, 2020-09:41
'cause it's the last of the stepped dials?

That's the sensible reason, Miki . . .

 By: Dr No : September 27th, 2020-11:16
. . . the not-so-sensible reason is that's the year I graduated high school. And I still want a '74 'Cuda!

I'm good with the '74 Speedy...

 By: MikiJ : September 27th, 2020-12:17
But the '74 Cuda was a dog :-(

The '74 Speedy is cool...

But the '74 Cuda was a dog :-(

Ah, but in my care, Miki, it would get . . .

 By: Dr No : September 27th, 2020-13:44
. . . all the suspension, brake, and drive-train upgrades imaginable.

I'd rather build up the 360 . . .

 By: Dr No : September 27th, 2020-15:28
. . . to make roughly a horse per cube at 5000 rpm and back it up with a Passon 5-speed transmission. Nothing wild, it's gotta be tractable. Now, if we're talking rods, then a 392 hemi with four Weber downdrafts would be just the ticket!

Does this mean you're finally growing up?

 By: MikiJ : September 27th, 2020-16:41
Yah, me too.

Everybody wants a Hemi 'Cuda . . .

 By: Dr No : September 27th, 2020-16:54
. . . 'cause they're wicked cool. They're also impractical. Much better to have a small block with five gears that'll drive almost as quick but way less stress. The best option would be a '70 AAR 'Cuda . . . . . . but they're priced up in the stratosphere...

Small block cars ...

 By: Cpt Scarlet : September 28th, 2020-02:27
Potentially handle better..... we have corners in Europe ;-))

I'll try to find video of Dan Gurney's AAR 'Cuda racing . . .

 By: Dr No : September 28th, 2020-06:39
. . . in the Trans-Am series when I'm back home later today, Captain.

Here's video of an AAR handling curves . . .

 By: Dr No : September 28th, 2020-13:28
. . . Down Under: Maybe four years ago driving east on the 118 freeway, I caught a glimpse of an identical orange AAR headed west. Turned my head and damn near snapped it off!

Thanks for posting the video Art ๐Ÿ‘

Looks good ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Iโ€™m sure that you would enjoy it

Stunning [nt]

 By: Evan1 : September 26th, 2020-18:26

I definitely think the caliber 3861 is a visual improvement over the 1861 Raymond and from the specs, it seems to be an improvement technically as well. I could elaborate further but...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : September 28th, 2020-09:28
don't think it is necessary to do so unless someone asks. Comparing a 3861 to a 321 would be interesting to see and I will do so soon as I got a surprise incoming this week ๐Ÿ˜‰

Nice! Congrats in advance....looking forward to seeing your surprise this week, Justin...

 By: Clueless_Collector : September 28th, 2020-11:16
My local OB has the rare Pt version 321 but I'm just waiting for the Ed White...which should also be soon.

Thanks Raymond. Had a chance to also see the PT 321 which is a stunner but just could not get my head around a PT Speedmaster so passed...

I am 1st on the list at my Omega boutique and they informed me to come by and pick up something they just got in for me so will do so once I can free up some time. Will definitely post some photos once I get the chance ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‰
