Louis Brandt et frere DDR 18k pocket watch
I am honoured to be only the second owner of this gorgeous timepiece. My grandmother gave it as a gift to my grandfather for Christmas 1911 and it passed from him to me. Even as a young boy I was mesmerized by it and the more I have read about the quality of the DDR class I know now why.
From the serial number it looks to be been crafted in 1905 with less than 400 made?
And do I have to even mention it keeps incredible time?

. . . your heirloom, Fred. While I know next to nothing about Omega pocket watches, I do know (thanks to Bill Sohne's tutelage) that DDR movements are beyond special. If anyone should stumble onto one, whip out your wallet and pay whatever the seller asks...
