... really undeserved I feel. It has a beautiful dial, a nice case and movement, and was one of the few watches specially designed to resist high intensity magnetic fields in those days of the 1950´s/60´s  (Milgauss, IWC Ingenieur, Patek Amagnetic) which makes it specially interesting as a collector´s piece.

It was fortunate that Omega decided to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of those three models: Speedmaster, Seamaster and Railmaster with their Trilogy models which I consider one of the best re issues ever made by any Watchmakers Brand.

I was looking for the original reference 2914 for years but never found any reference in my part of the World till this one appeared a few days ago. I couldn´t let it go!

Glad to know you like it! Best cordial regards, Abel.

... by a Watch Manufacturer. The model replicated was the 2914 reference which was the first Railmaster with its arrow hour hand and it is a very beautiful watch indeed. I also own those three watches and love them so much.

A this one I love

The rail master; for many years it was under valued under appreciated. But lately it’s gaining interest. That started (well at least that’s when I noticed it) when they launched that anniversary trio. Congrats with that very nice catch

. . . of the 135.004, nothing amiss about yours. My pecking order for Omega icons is 2914/135.004, 145.013, and 166.093. The chances of latching onto a Rail are slim, but hope springs eternal! I'm so happy for you, Abel. When we meet again, please bring t...
