It‘s indeed one of the nicest Speedmaster Models in existance.
I personally think it needs to be fittet with a metal bracelet due to its diameter / thickness ratio. The original leather band looks a bit too small on the watch. Here‘s a picture of the one i had for a few years.

Extended thoughts
Some watches are great to dissect completely. Very interesting watches. Spring in every detail. I guess the CK 2998 is a kind of Speedmaster that is a timeless one. When i hop to the famous black models, they have some sphere, but are for me boring (dial)...
I have to say that even though my Speedies have twisted lugs I prefer straight…
Only thing I would change is the lolli…never appealed to me but it works over all on this dial.

Maybe they come out with a reverse panda in the future? Have yet to see a simple reverse panda CK speedy..

This might be my favorite Speedmaster! I love most Speedmasters and do agree they have made to many but in my opinion the best looking chronograph under 20k.. This photo really makes this watch look enticing!! -D-
