When I bought these brand new back in 1999, I got the RG for such a good price that I bought two and immediately flipped one. That was my one and only pure flipping experience.

This one has some character
It shows some nice nods to seamasters from the 70s (indices) and the movement clearly classifies as having 'historical importance'! The platinum salmon combo is always tasty... but I always found the script on the dial quite clumsy
Well, it is a milestone indeed, but what do you mean with „the same movement“?
They used the cal 2500 (ETA 2892 A2 base) as in every other Omega Aquaterra that has been released later on. It was Chronometer spec from the beginning but was improved over the coming years from version A up to version D.

I assume those 4-digit numbers refer to a type of Patek. Another nice 4-digit number...
... that you'd probably like in all metals is "1815" -- as in Emil, Moonphase
