is anyone aware of that?

Just received this from the omega boutique:

Let me stress that whilst this bracelet will fit - where it was not specifically designed for the Speedmaster CK2998 timepiece, we cannot guarantee 1. The most flattering fit and 2. The long term future security. Should you decide to opt for this, a note will be made on your purchase invoice, that no guarantee will be offered. If said bracelet detaches, thus resulting in damage to the case / movement, this will not be covered under the timepiece international purchase warranty.

As for the 60th Anniversary Speedmaster 57’ Trilogy timepiece bracelet - it’s case size is 39mm (1mm smaller than your model). As such, we cannot guarantee the spring alignment.

i'm trying to find a metal bracelet for my ck2998. So basically no warranty anymore if I get an omega bracelet bought from an official omega boutique !??

The most important is the distance between the lugs for both of these Speedmasters? Now, it is normal and logical that Omega tries to cover its bases.

By the way, the Trilogy is 38, 6 mm big, the CK 2998 is 39, 7 mm big. But it is a funny warning because the distance between the lugs ( 19 mm for the Trilogy and the CK 2998 ) is the same and if the end links of the trilogy fit on the CK 2998, I don't see...

yeah
