Omega

This is a question for the hard core Omega collectors. This is the version in the Flightmaster case. I have seen several examples recently offered for sale purporting to be all original, one with cyclops and one without. Any thoughts? This is not make or ... 

All Memomatic pieces that I ever saw carries a standard crystal without a cyclops. In fact there are quite few Omegas with a cyclops crystal. If my mind is working today, I remember one Geneve and another, more moderns, Omegamatic. Cheers

I have the cushion case version, no cyclops and I don't recall ever seeing one with one...

Hi Ginger, I think a plain crystal is the original... IMO there were very few models with cyclops (if any). kind regards Erich

I can point you to is Steve Waddingtons work on the pilot line cases and all the examples there show no cyclops present. A corect replacement shouldn't be to hard to find if you do end up buying it anyway. Regards, Zac
