Your Omega is a typical watch i like and would be easy to become a favorite watch. Many contrasts, sporty, original, never be boring. Wear comfort could be top.
The issues people had with them were more likely the inverted aspects of the design, especially . . .
. . . the logo in the coincidentally appropriate 'Southern Hemisphere' offset by the diminutive hour counter at 12 . It's an odd duck, for sure, but oddity has its charms, too. 🦆
And the fact that not that many people have a real need for a 10 minute Regatta countdown timer unless the have a yacht or like 10 minute eggs.
This one has dots change from blue to red as you near the starting horn or gun as it were.
Good point regarding the hands. Probably the niche use as well not to mention the off-the-beaten-path looks..
