It's an Omega NZL-32 Regatta countdown timer that came out in 2006 I believe, commemorating the "Black Magic" New Zealand yacht, that won the Americas Cup in 1995 ...

Your Omega is a typical watch i like and would be easy to become a favorite watch. Many contrasts, sporty, original, never be boring. Wear comfort could be top.

The issues people had with them were more likely the inverted aspects of the design, especially . . .

And the fact that not that many people have a real need for a 10 minute Regatta countdown timer unless the have a yacht or like 10 minute eggs.

This one has dots change from blue to red as you near the starting horn or gun as it were.

Which Art pointed out as having its own charm. Gotta love that period in watches though with brands trying to figure out their footing. The design cues, i think, are more streamlined now following probably some sort of company design bible. Great for desi...
