. . . doesn't have the traction of the original.

Most prefer Connery over Moore as Bond.  I'm in that camp myself.  But when it comes to Speedies, the Mk II design captures the essence of its era so adroitly that I have to give it the nod.

. . . because Omega is no longer selling parts to third party suppliers. If you want correct hands and can't find them on the open market, your only solution is to pack it off to Omega for service. You'll get correct hands, but they may replace the dial, ...
