Similar story for me. Was on my list for more than 10 years. Due to other prios, I always said ‘later’.
Then found it at my favourite Omega boutique in Lugano three years ago and passed on it.
Then, while purchasing the Railmaster Trilogy last year, I asked whether they have by miracle a chocolate Speedy, laughing myself at my own question. Then they said ‘yes’...!!
I was shocked with my luck to find it new from Omega.
Bought it in one second.
The beauty of the watch and its appeal is so strong I am positively shocked.
I struggle to take it off and I am not the chrono guy.
