Both compared on my wrist:

Regarding movements: sorry, but I have no experience and less knowledge when it comes to IWC, so nothing meaningful to say comparatively. I do have some some experience with the basic movement in the Ploprof, and I am deeply impressed, to the point that my next new watch will almost certainly be an Omega with some variation of their current in-house movement. Value for money? Omega, imho. You might presume the IWC is more amenable to smaller wrists, but in my experience, the asymmetric shape and atypical construction of the Ploprof on the wrist mitigates it's imposing presence off the wrist. I'm not a fan of conspicuous watches, but the Ploprof is one of very few that I feel comfortable with . . . cordially, Art

Actually I am considering between a ploprof and an iwc ingy as a 9 to 5 working watch. However, it has to be seen and functioned also as a rugged one as well, I am sure you know what I mean.............
