Omega Seamaster 300 ST 165 024. An old picture.

Of an old love. I never came across a nicer one than my ex Seamaster 300. Here is another one, which is not bad looking, but the condition is far less good than my ex. I also saw this one, but here again, the condition.... I think it will be a hard challe...

Love that first pic

Something about the integration of the lugs and crown guard, along with the dial. Just a nice design that stands the test of time.

I’ll keep my eyes peeled for one ...

Why did they decide to stick that helium escape valve on it

Not on this one. I said this one is nice

Whey did omega decide to stick a helium escape value and ruin the design?

On newer seamaster models

I can't tell if you are trolling me or being serious. This Omega seamaster did not have a helium escape valve at the 10 o'clock and now it does....... I'm not sure what you are missing here? Are you not aware that newer models of the seamaster have a heli...

Oh well then that explains it

I think omega should have kept the helium escape valve off For new models!

Bonds and Planet Oceans passed you by, Nicolas? . . .

. . . unlikely! [photo credits: Dr No] Helium valves at 10:00; I, for one, am also allergic. The pre-Bond Seamasters of the late '80s / early '90s are more to my liking. Art ...

a keeper (even for me) :-)
