though if Cartier ever gets around to producing more straps in its size, I'd like to try it on black or dark gray alligator.
Sadly, no can do with Cartier's proprietary QuickSwitch system. 🙄
I'm giving Cartier the benefit of the doubt that the current unavailability of Santos QuickSwitch straps is pandemic-based. Otherwise, it's bothersome that they'd use a proprietary system and then offer no straps.
Ah ok, so proprietary like the system for the Extreme Lab 2, VC Overseas 4500V, etc...
I get it now. I am sure they will come out with multiple options but worse case scenario is a bespoke option from ABP or another provider but would have to sacrifice a strap to recuperate the quick-release attachment 🤷♂️🤦♂️

I'll wait Cartier out for a while, though their Richemont cousin IWC put a proprietary strap system on some of the Aquatimers years ago, and then never, ever bothered with any strap options, so maybe it's a Richemont thing.
Well, the VC OS 4500V, JLC Extreme Lab 2, and JLC Amvox 7 all have quick change strap systems and they all have different strap options so I am sure Cartier will do it...
In fact, I believe the initial Cartier with this type of system was the Roadster and it had several strap options as well 👍
