what if Hayek had chosen Tissot and/or Longines to build as his flagship brand?
It’s lost to history now. Longines and Tissot are a shell of their former greatness. Omega has gotten most of Swatch’s investments as their flagship accessible luxury brand for the past 30 years and still they chase Rolex’s tail. Which tells you something about how far of a lead Rolex has enjoyed.

I heard Omega was on top then. They lost everything with quartz and had to be reborn.

Who sell both Omega and Rolex. He said that when he is at training courses at Omega Switzerland, the Omega people talk a lot about Rolex and how they see the success of Rolex as a benchmark I various aspects.
