To me, it’s the best of both worlds (independent finishing and co-axial reliability and reduced serviceability and omega 5 year warranty). The one minute Tourbillion part is impressive too. If I had the money, and could wear gold, I’d get it as my only wa... 

It's interesting to see how Omega operates without budget restrictions. A grey ceramic version would be my favorite.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing this technical tour de force being made and discussing it with the watchmaker. It’s a very small team of dedicated and highly skilled watchmakers.

I'd love to visit omega

If you can, as IMHO many opinions are formed without actually seeing, handling the product and discussing the process in person with the maker.

The rose gold doesn't do it for me

but Omega needs to do more work supporting these projects. They fail where AP, Nardin and Mille succeed.

Most people would rather buy a PP for that money

They do have some outrageously expensive pieces (some ironically that far exceed Rolex) and some very devoted collectors but they lack the buzz that a AP Black Panther or Daytona Cosmograph can garner…this IMO has a lot to do with where the pieces are pla...  

But I also like how Omega is not as popular and hyped. It allows me and other collectors to buy and enjoy their watches without having to worry about waiting lists and unwanted attention.

I think a lot may have to do how Omega plays our inevitable return to the surface of the moon…quite a marketing set up…

This and the ultralight seem awesome but priced out of my budget.

But size and cost may count against? And if watchmakers don't start getting the message that 42mm-48mm diameters are unacceptable for 90% of the population.... they deserve the tsunami that's coming 🌊

Way better proportioned

. . . in full. A third generation central like this would've been even more compelling with a black dial decked in rose gold, in my humble opinion. ...

I think there is only 3 things to consider in buying owning a watch....whether this watch, a Casio or something unbelievably high-end. 1. Do you like it enough to buy? 2. Can you afford it? 3. Can you acquire it? Anything else, size, brand, taste etc........
