and one of my favorite watches for everyday usage due to the ceramic case. The dial finishing and comfort is also an added bonus. It normally comes with a ceramic tang buckle but you might want to consider adding the deployant buckle in ceramic and titanium along with the OEM strap which has the racing theme like the standard strap. I just feel it wears better, is also more balance, and more practical for everyday use.

Finally I can spend Tuesdays with the right watch

I just spent my first Speedy Tuesday a few days ago and glad that it’s with a special one that I have been waiting for awhile. Loves everything about the Apollo 8, for a 44.25mm case size, it wears very well and feels very balanced. The weight is distribu...

The watch as a whole is really quite a cool piece. And that’s the main selling point for me 😊

Congrats Singingbee

It is also my favourite watch of late and not to be pedantic but those are close up pictures of the near side the far side is on the back of the watch. Otherwise I agree with all you say about this great watch and easily the best of the Dark Side of the M...

Thanks mate!

This is definitely IMO one of the nicest sports chronograph I have tried so far. I will personally place it up there with the stainless steel ceramic Daytona and the YG or WG Ceramic Daytona in terms of wrist presence and comfort. Only downside is althoug...

Thanks Geo!

And I agree it’s definitely one of the best Speedmaster IMO. I didn’t have a chance to try the new Apollo 11 but I assume that is a very nice piece too. And I definitely agree with the part on been a perfect daily wear, I have been wearing this almost dai...

The Apollo 11 is also a great watch...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : November 11th, 2019-20:02
but in a different way. I find the Apollo 8 serves better as a daily watch due to it's light weight and ceramic case whereas the Apollo 11 has more of a bling factor and is a special watch. I am expecting a Moonshine within the next week so that will fit ...

Thanks for sharing

Your Apollo 11 is gorgeous too! With the bracelet and new movement, i thought it might be a more versatile watch and the nearest competitor to a ceramic steel Daytona. For people who are unable to get a Daytona at retail price, the Apollo 11 is the next b...

An outstanding Speedmaster!

It has everything going for it.

Thanks Fernando

Definitely agree!

Interesting that you received a nineteen jewel cal 1869 movement . . .

 By: Dr No : November 18th, 2019-12:36
. . . when initial press photos . . . [photo credit: Robert Jan Broer] . . . indicated eighteen. There's an additional jewel in the chronograph train that's easily identifiable by comparing a pic of yours with this one. To this day, I've no idea which is ...

That is strange and cool at the same time...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : November 18th, 2019-15:34
seems mine also has 19 jewels. I will ask Omega to see what the difference is when I get the chance to talk with them again later this week when I am supposed to pick up my Moonshine 🤷‍♂️ ...

A piece unique! ;) [nt]

Actually, now that I think about it...maybe the example by Robert Jan could have been a prototype considering it's movement number of 00000000000 and lack of serial number on the case lug

 By: holdemchamp1225 : November 18th, 2019-15:38
See my post above with my Apollo 8 that has the movement number which is also laser etched into the lower right lug.

I think you've latched onto the nub of the matter, Bruce . . .

. . . but let's wait to hear what your source at Omega has to say. Art
