With all the commemorative celebrations this week, collectors who've ordered the gold Apollo XI 50th anniversary piece tell me they still have no word on when they will receive the watch. While I understand Omega may have sold out the series, what a botched opportunity to not be part of the anniversary celebrations! I'm going to a 50th celebration themed party at a friend's place later today and at least two of the invitees are miffed they don't have the anniversary piece to go with that. 

 For what the watch costs, it sure would have been a nice touch by Omega to make it special for these collectors to have the watch be available in a timely manner.
