Pie pan for me, but because of my retirement lifestyle which is heavy on the casual side. I simply wouldn't have any place to wear the dress watch—though I think it quite unusual,

Torn between these two...

Which one is better/you'd rather pick up? *all of them are the seller pictures* Ref 157.001 in solid 18k gold, around 1300 usd Or ref 168.025 pie pan dual tone dial for 300 bucks more? Thank you! Best JFT ...

Both are very nice.

2nd: love the unusual dial colour-combination 1st: very nice guilloche on an otherwise boring piece. I would check them in the metal: if the guilloche is truly anazing, i would take the first. In any other case i would take the second watch...

It's stamped pattern though...

And yeah, I never seen this combo, mostly was black in center and gold in its periphery. Kinda want this but solid gold watch was quite a bargain for a solid gold watch 😵

Thanks for pointing this out! [nt]

Thanks for your input!

Well.... The indices were painted black, unlike the onyx inserts which previously used on constellation prior to this one, so most are taken its toll from its age on this series...

The slim Connie.

Interesting dial, pristine condition and an ultraslim automatic movement not seen everyday.

Ah... +1 again for the "Calatrava" omega

Thanks for the input! And yeah, it's the thinnest omega automatic ever

+2 for the monocogque! [nt]

Okay! Seems so far the pie pan wins huh... Thanks for the input! 😄

It all depends of what you want more and your lifestyle

The first is lovely, and in great condition. If you have always wanted something like a Patek Calatrava, this is it. More elegant, refined. On the other hand, the two tone constellation, although polished, looks more bold, with a rare configuration, it su...

Unquestionably the Connie . . .

. . . which appears to be a rare Japan-only model produced in '68 or thereabouts. I've seen two other dial incarnations . . . . . . but have never laid eyes on the one you're looking at now. If you get it and decide it's not right for you, I know where yo...

Of the three, the center grey dial would be my favorite as well . . .

. . . but Jev's onto an uncommon variation, and that's putting it mildly. I hope he latches onto it. ;-)

Here's one more pic of a Japan-market Connie . . .

. . . from my files. If memory serves correct, this image is from an eBay auction several years ago. I'm not sure if the bracelet's original, but the dial's compelling. Art ...

Crown is bogus, too, but the dial? . . .

 By: Dr No : December 8th, 2019-08:14
. . . magnifique !

Wow... I've seen the steel one back in 2015 on the same site

 By: JFT : December 7th, 2019-05:56
Though I wanted it, it was unattainable at that time... My concern with it was that it was the gold cap variant unlike the solid gold on your second picture, and the crown which appears to be replaced. Indeed it looks like the one featured in OJTT (though...

There are exceptions to every rule, and this . . .

 By: Dr No : December 7th, 2019-09:49
. . . is one of them. Yes, gold-capped cases are generally frowned upon by collectors, including yours truly, but in this instance, the usual disdain is waived. You should get it if you possibly can, Jev. Thanks for sharing a link to the seller; unfortuna...
