Congratulation on a wonderfull pair Csbracc. How did they come to you as a pair ? Any thoughts on dial originality ? Yours Jacob/Copenhagen

I bought the pair from the same seller, apparently they were always owned as a pair (not the original owner anyway). I am inclined to believe that both dials have not been retouched. The yellow gold one is in immaculate condition, the steel one has a few ... 

You’re right it looks very modern, but that’s because brands are rediscovering their roots

. . . neither dial is original, and additionally, the case and hands of the sweep seconds model aren't correct for any Omega chronometer I'm aware of. If you can return them, you would be well advised to do so. Cordially, Art

but I am sorry that I must concur with Art, both dials are incorrect, the silver one had the "Chronometer" wording added later on a well known replacement dial variant which were frequently offered on ebay and watch trade shows (dial of unknown origin). T...
