. . . made for Japan in '04, nor one of the rare racing dials produced in the late '60s. Pay close attention to the hands and 'Swiss Made' at the bottom of the dial flanked on either side by 'T'. Also, the bracelet, amongst other clues. Let's wait for Ter...

This is a 145.022-69 with 2.9 million serial. I had a long inspection about the dial because, as Dr No said, this is not the few prototype racing dial as the font, the hands are not the same. This dial, is very close to mark 2 racing dial but the line mar...

The original 1970 Racing dial has a step. This one does not

. . . the mystery. Definitely not a rare authentic '69 racing, nor the less rare but still uncommon '04 Japan limited edition. For what it's worth, my sense is it's either a prototype that escaped a dial-maker's facility, or an outright fabrication. Art
