It does look awesome. One question & one request: 1) what is the watch thickness? 2) Please keep us updated as to how the Silver dial ages, because reportedly it will age/tarnish. Thanks.

…and yet another CK 859 has landed! Our friend “Mach”, who received his today must have brought me luck!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 9th, 2022-23:21
i had ordered this watch from a boutique originally and after seeing a few members receiving theirs, and after Mach post earlier today I decided to call the boutique to inquire again. Now here is the funny part of the story. The boutique never answered th...

Holy Crap!!!

It's spectacular!!! The first pic is deadly. Congrats!!

🙏🙏

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 9th, 2022-23:56

Thanks! It feels great! This one was a no brainer for me 😉

Perfect size, perfect vintage vibe, great movement and legibility, incognito, what’s not to love!

So glad Omega made the lugs 20 mm. It is unusual for them, because lately they (and lots of other brands) tend to make odd lugs

This is very high on my list...if only the water resistant is higher (sigh.. )

WOW! Just wow. Enough said... for now. 👍

Beautiful! Looks perfect on your wrist.

Merci, you will not regret this one!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2022-00:45

This watch is just beautiful!

 By: renerod : April 10th, 2022-00:17
I think this is what most watch companies with a huge heritage should be doing more these days. Of course, without abandoning their modern collections. This, for Omega, is like (excuse the comparison Patek lovers) their Calatrava. Thanks for sharing and e...

And that's a great compliment to Omega workmanship!

 By: Pun : April 10th, 2022-02:41
It's a beautiful watch indeed. I've also ordered one and expecting delivery in July. Wear it in good health. Regards

Now that's . . .

 By: Dr No : April 10th, 2022-15:57
. . . a compliment!! And coming from you, Y, doubly so. 😊

WOW! You almost had two outstanding pieces in one visit!

 By: Mach : April 10th, 2022-00:36
That first shot is absolutely beautiful as I previously stated. When Purists see that shot, it will be extremely difficult for them not to fall in love with the CK 859! OBs and ADs will be receiving lots of calls soon because of you! Once again, I’m lovin...

Thanks Mach! Yeah indeed the Seamaster 1948 is very tempting. My pictures are horrible for some reason. I was actually looking for a 1948 but the small second version...

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2022-00:53
However the central center has its charm and the hands are likely easier to read in normal lighting condition compared to the thinner hands on the small second. It just felt a lot smaller then just 1mm difference with the CK 859...i will likely go back to...

Perhaps your luck will continue . . .

 By: Mach : April 10th, 2022-00:56
And you will find one of these: ...

I recall the strap being stiff initially. But it wears great!

 By: Mach : April 10th, 2022-01:06
During my discussion with the GM, I mentioned that Omega always tends to use artists’ renditions rather than real photos when releasing new pieces. I almost missed the Seamaster 1948 Small Seconds due to that very reason. Then I saw wrist shots, panicked,...

Love this new ref

Also the fact that it isn't some cobranded exercise (Olympics, etc). Just good heritage themed piece. I forsee a lot of these showing up on here!

I suspect the same! Cheers!

Very very beautiful and uniquely retro

Woohoo!!!! We have a community watch! Big congratulations…

 By: Clueless_Collector : April 10th, 2022-03:19
Did you get the limited edition warranty card? 😅🤣 I just received mine and will post soon.

Thanks my friend! Yes I was going to post as well. While the watch is said to be numbered but not limited, the warranty card clearly says limited with the total numbers…

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2022-11:01
But maybe it’s like other manufacturer like Panerai should produce a limited number each year (like 1000) making it feel it’s limited…here is a snapshot of my card ...

Tempting :-)

 By: Echi : April 10th, 2022-03:46

Yes it is! A great value proposition!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2022-11:02

Wow! What a cool story!

 By: patrick_y : April 10th, 2022-04:17
Seems like a whole bunch of members are in love with this watch!

Enjoy my friend!!

 By: agyzace : April 10th, 2022-04:21
It is a great watch!! I tried it twice this past week and although did not buy it, I find it a great proposition from Omega! Enjoy!!

Thanks agyzace!

So happy for you and masses of congratulations!

 By: KCLQMULKU : April 10th, 2022-06:10
It is certainly a wonder to wear and a terrific story and photos!!! That seamster looks fabulous too! What was the back like and did you buy that one too?

Not being biased but I think you made the right choice. :))

 By: KCLQMULKU : April 10th, 2022-11:35
I am sure the CK859's popularity will start to climb and always good to get a lower edition number! The seamaster is a fantastic piece, but like the CK (for the time being at least) is quite difficult to find on their website and so it is consequently rem...

😆

 By: KCLQMULKU : April 10th, 2022-11:42

It is a honor to only can see pictures of the CK 859

 By: Weems@8 : April 10th, 2022-06:24
As dreams can be real, there are enough to destroy it. I will follow the course, and see what prices do. Tripled, more than six times retail? I am curious.

A little research

 By: Weems@8 : April 10th, 2022-12:08
Brought me this results. In my country. Some AD’s have in stock, some not. Offer the Omega price. Other Omega watches. Are more expensive, not nicer than CK859 For example the Seamaster 70 years editions cost a limb. My conclusion, the CK859 is a numbered...

The dial is not pure white like my up/down for example

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2022-12:19
I tried a comparaison picture with my iPhone but does not render justice. Will try with natural light. I would say the CK has a little hint of grey/beige to its dial…

The perfect vintage touch

 By: Weems@8 : April 10th, 2022-15:29
I am happy it is not silver, for making the watch as vintage as possible. There are almost no cons, so if i see one, i buy one.

Huge congrats my friend 🥳🥳

 By: Seeks : April 10th, 2022-07:00
I think I will need to join you soon ! These photos are amazing Wear this CK859 in the best of health.

huge congratulations...while the SWATCH-Omega took the attention, this one is a hidden gem....

 By: mahesh : April 10th, 2022-07:38
I think it has one of the perfect sector dials & the co-axial manually wound movement is good one too. enjoy in your best health. Best, mahesh.,

Huge congratulations!

 By: jlux : April 10th, 2022-08:18
This is such an awesome looking watch. Omega is really on fire lately with so many desirable watches.

Congrats!

 By: Arronax : April 10th, 2022-09:01
That looks like a very sweet addition! When you have time can you share some pocs of the caseback as well, thanks.

congrats 👏 👏 very nice 🦾

 By: christianch : April 10th, 2022-09:14
sector dials are so special and Omega is doing great on inventories 🦾 both directly and on AD. Also always cordial and down to earth!

Congratulations 👏 👏👏…

 By: Cpt Scarlet : April 10th, 2022-09:21
I can’t wait to see the straps you’re going to pair with this one 😬

Thank you dear COUNT!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2022-13:28
This new addition is also helping me confirm how much i have grown to love 39mm ish watches versus the bigger size i was always aiming for just a few years ago (back then everything had to be 42mm +, but no more!)

Indeed! I am going full circle as a few years ago I sold my 36mm date just to get a larger watch

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2022-15:04
But now am slowly gravitating back to that size! 😂

Now that everyone has gone ballistic over CK 859 . . .

 By: Dr No : April 10th, 2022-16:01
. . . I really need to see one in the metal, hopefully sometime later this week. 🤞🏼

LOL! It sure is a fun watch to wear as well…now this one is my only Omega but likely not the last! Cheers!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2022-16:20
Looking forward to your impression when you see one…

And, it is well worth seeing one in person as none of these photos are making it justice.

By: India Whiskey Charlie : April 10th, 2022-21:03
Really beautifully designed and made. I particularly loved the domed crystal.

Indeed the domed crystal is nice! 👍
