I just adore that dial!

. . . but . I was about to pop for a Sedna before coming to grips with how often I'd be able to wear it. That's gotta be a factor to consider: how often would you get to wear a precious metal Speedy? Especially considering the line of work you're in, work... 

I'm generally not into precious metals, I just adore this dial. Perhaps there are some other similar older models I could hunt. Also, is the essence of an Omega Speedmaster at all related to a precious metal? You have a steel one, and it seems you are all...

But this is the kind of watch where they are all great, no matter the generation.

And it goes to my point on another forum about the dial name not mattering... for guys like us, it really does not. This Omega gives me the same pleasure to wear as any other I have, regardless of cost / value / "pedigree".

I guess this is almost a rare bird nowadays!!
