The problem is that I don't think this these are avaliable with a gold trim ring anymore. As I stated above, your example is the only one of this reference I've ever seen in gold or gold plate.  If your watchmaker has an Omega parts account, have him try "063PX 5236". I think that the "X" is the gold version, but I cannot confirm that. 

My advice would be to leave it alone and enjoy your discovery piece.

Yes, generally the 168.0065 were pie pans, but some domed dials were also produced. These were a model that primarily went to Japan only and they're not all that common in Western countries. Gold plated models were fewer than SS. Cheers Desmond

it seems the bezel is missing but actually it is not. Will take better picture tomorrow. It was a quick shot under poor lightning and dirty. The dial is flat dial as the one shown in your article. The difference is this is gold plate version. Just get hom...

...the problem is really the crystal. Doesn't look right and distorts at the rim when viewed straight on. Easily fixed with the correct Omega crystal from an authorized supplier. Very nice!! gatorcpa

Yep looking at my 1st blurry picture, it really seems missing the bezel. any clue on the part number? The one installed now have omega logo on the center of crystal but might not be the correct one. Examine under loupe shows on the very corner of the lugs...
