Hmmm. A clover probably wouldn't come off as well on that dressy design . . .

. . . as it does on my scientific dial. There were Seamaster chronometers with scientific dials and clover crowns, so there's some basis in past production for using it on mine.
On the one you're considering: it would stand out like a sore thumb.

Time really flies! What about celebrating it with a dash of color, shall we? the ref 168.017 and the ref 2657 And I got something incoming as well (pictures from the seller) Ref 2852 Already serviced And a question.... What do you think about this one? Is...
Looks like a ref 2782, Jev . . .
By: Dr No : January 18th, 2019-19:11
. . . not only based on the caseback image, but it has the rubber sealing ring which differentiated the 2782 from other bumper Constellation references. (The crown should be changed for a correct decagonal replacement; proper gold crowns are getting tough...
Ah silly me haha..

The caseback does have a written 2782 ๐ I guess I'll try to find the fatty decagonal crown, right? With 2.5mm tube opening and big diameter? Well about the American model, is it does exist with the combo of that case with the manual wind movement and that...

Haha ๐ Nipple aside, how does nipple crown looks like? ๐ So the hands are correct set? For the decagonal crown, I've found several on ebay, so don't worry about it ๐
Hands look good. I've searched the 'net for twenty minutes . . .
By: Dr No : January 19th, 2019-08:18
. . . and this is the best (and only!) photo I could come up with for a nipple crown: [photo credit: eBay] The nipple crown I'm thinking of has an even more pronounced profile, and intricate edges. If I ever see another, I'll post it in this thread. Best,...
Ahh yeah it got to be gold colored
By: JFT : January 19th, 2019-11:49
And... Yeah I could imagine how that feels like... Btw, would it do as well with the clover crown? Cz I think Norman Morris collections does used those crown as well (though in constellation and seamaster, or... more?)
Here's a photo of the 10 kt gold-filled Omega I acquired . . .

. . . a few years ago. This is the first replacement crown the watchmaker fitted. It was difficult to use, so he changed it for a gold clover leaf. Unfortunately, I don't have a clear pic of it at the moment, but will try to get one soon. The original cro...
Yes, that's precisely the type of crown . . .
By: Dr No : January 20th, 2019-10:31
. . . that's on now. My watchmaker had a used gold clover leaf that fit perfectly, and it looks quite nice. Can't get over having lost the original, though. Art

Though pity that that case was over polished by someone before... And can't wait for what you had in store hahah... Let me guess, the seamaster deluxe? ๐
