I think you were debating between 1861 and 3861 (new model), correct? I definitely wanted the discontinued model but wasn't sure if I wanted the hesalite or saphire (1863).
In the end I decided to go for the hesalite because of the hesalite I tried on the new model and I know exactly what you mean about the bracelet. The 1861 just feels like the correct proportions all the way around. Cheers my friend!!

I also have a previous generation, and have 0 intention to change to the new one. I have the sapphire model, it never disappoints me.
