After so many of our dear forum members had shown pictures of their CK 859 I was eager to discover the watch in real...and this is the result. I just could not resist the beautie of this watch! What impressed me most were the near perfect proportions of t...

Stop Vinnie. You are doing right! I can feel almost Omega comes up with it. I can not give any guarantee. I have no crystal ball. What i did is waiting till the perfect watch appears. My situation was, i spotted a watch which was almost in my possession. ... 

It was somewhat difficult to decline this new CK859 given that it fits very much what I am looking for. There have been some other sector dials in the recent past (Patek, JLC Master, Longines) but all had minor flaws in my eyes. Omega is the best so far b... 

I never wore a watch with a sector dial. I guess my next watch have a kind of a sector dial, or the model line contain sector dials. It is a Baume and Mercier Clifton.

Right, the blue and some other BM Cliftons. The one i go to collect is without. Also it is no Cosc. What it is? A moon phase. I like to collect for purpose and complication. I start with time only’s, expand with day date, high water resistance, moon phase... 

Omega really nailed it with this one.

It’s a great watch indeed, with only one downside: hand winding to full power reserve takes forever and a day. Cheers Henrik

Have owned some fantastic vintage Omegas. Very tempted by this one. As Oscar Wilde said, "the only way to beat temptation is to yield to it"!!

I think Omega did something extremely likable with the sector dial. PP & JLC did that few years ago, but the date window ruined the dial IMHO - Omega kept it pure. I also like the domed sapphire on the timepiece, it is very well done. your pics are stunni...

I looked at the watch in the metal a few days ago at the boutique. Definitely a very compelling and attractive piece, especially the dial and the historic logo. I’ll have to say your photography makes it look even better than the boutique lighting offered...
