Not bad, these Omega Seamaster 1948 Small Second and Central Second.
I saw them again, in Paris, two days ago. And I must say that I am tempted. With time passing, since 2018 and the first pictures I took, I think the Small Second is my favorite among these 2. Definitely one of these very good modern Omega... What do you t...
Strangely, just this week I’ve been thinking of getting one of these.
If I do take the plunge it will be the small seconds as I don’t like the hands on the other; the hour hand in particular seems far too short. Regards Kev.

The central seconds imo is just strange. Those short sword hands are just wrong

I like a central second, in this case it’s the small seconds. The longer hour and minute hands, the minute railtrack, the dial that looks wider, all that make me like the small seconds more. A tempting watch indeed. Regards, George

But, I don’t like the etching on the rear crystal, on both versions, which obscures the movement!

Very nice, its not hot enough for me to actually buy it though.

I loved it at the first sight, however I'm still not sure about the thickness... But again I can't say anything before trying one personally.. The vintage one though, is something I'd definitely love to have! Sam

I saw gem at the boutique back in the day when released, and my eyes were naturally drawn to the small seconds version.
It’s more elegant, and I like the more open dial. Same as you, I’m tempted to get one, I just didn’t fall over the cliff yet!😜

. . . more like this limited edition? One of twenty made in rose gold ten years ago for the Omega Boutique in Shanghai. Rose gold 37 mm case, black dial, same movement as in third generation Railmasters (cal 2403), and styled after the ref 2989 Seamaster ...
That was a special order for Shanghai, Nicolas. To the best of my knowledge . . .
. . . the rose gold model was the only one made. Kind of odd, when you think about it. One would expect yellow and white gold, too. Or even steel.

and better still, if there are less words on the dial face - keeping it a little cleaner. Whatever, be quick to get yours before it is "sold out"
