The dial would also have to be soft iron, and a ring around the movement. As I understand it.

..the movement was copper finished and protected by a special double case and iron dust cover. The dial was 1mm thick as opposed to the usual 0.4mm Cheers, HSTE

.....that you need to hold in your hands to appreciate it. On the other hand I am quite a chrono-guy so the 2915 is a bit of a chrono grail to me. Which is probably why I have both so that I can switch depending on mood as I did this afternoon from 2915-1...
