What do you guys think of the new ULTRA DEEP Titanium Omega?

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-13:31
I kinda like it. It reminds me a little bit of the Deepsea by Rolex and the FXD by Tudor (fixed lugs on Omega as well). Picture Credit: Fratello Fratello Watches Fratello Watches Fratello Watches ...

Cool piece definitely

 By: VinnieD : March 7th, 2022-13:56
This one is to be tested in person: 45mm and 18mm height is not for everyone...

Oh my…

 By: Watches&Men : March 7th, 2022-14:02
Any idea what’s the weight of the SS version with full bracelet? Am not sure if I can lift my wrist to tell time! Jokes aside, it’s an engineering marvel to behold

yes cool name

 By: Gelato Monster : March 8th, 2022-02:19

I like the look of it...

 By: GWIS : March 7th, 2022-14:12
...but it seems far too thick for comfort (and I own and love the Deepsea!).

I am still waiting.for this killer.

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-14:27
Hopefully this year

Correcto mundo.

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-14:30
I was on the list for the first generation, but refused to buy. Too chunky (my feeling back then). Then, the 2nd generation came out and it was better balanced and i was really hooked. Especially on the color👍

Wicked💪

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-15:00

;)

 By: amanico : March 7th, 2022-15:05

It is for " saturation diving", see back side😉

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-14:26
I guess for that, thickness doesnt really matter.

I see that it is 18.12mm thick but presumably that doesn't include the thickness of the Nato strap which must add another mm or two.

 By: GWIS : March 7th, 2022-18:24
You're right that if this watch were actually used for diving the thickness would not matter too much, but for professional desk divers like me it is a consideration and the 18mm of a Deepsea is as much thickness as I would want!! These Omega watches look...

I like it

 By: MiguelFlash : March 7th, 2022-14:18
Can I wear it? Probably not!

Thats a question we all have to answer...

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-14:28
... with pleasure 😄

Bravo Omega!!!

 By: myles721 : March 7th, 2022-14:45
I own three PO’s including the Chrono which has the same dimensions at 18mm thick. For what it is and because I usually wear it on a JetSki or a boat I do not find it cumbersome in terms of what you get in return. I am obviously not going to wear it with ...

350~ Saturation divers in whole US

 By: Jakub M : March 7th, 2022-14:48
Wonder if even one will buy this

Maybe for desk diving 😋

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-14:58
The diving computers do the job quite well

Exactly.

 By: InHavenPro : March 7th, 2022-15:21
Cheers, Filip

Jury is still out on that one. While I really like Omega

 By: Thomas_3 : March 7th, 2022-16:25
dive watches I'm undecided on this particular one.

Soon gone i guess....

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-15:31

Supremely impressive.

 By: InHavenPro : March 7th, 2022-15:17
With that said, unless you happen to be a pro diver, I don't see many people buying and wearing this . Cheers, Filip

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-15:32
I love these kind of watches, but when it.comes to wearing, i prefer more wearable ones.

Love it

 By: Cookies : March 7th, 2022-16:57
Esp the manta lug titanium version. Oooooooooo

Only titanium seems to have these lugs

 By: @lberti : March 7th, 2022-17:17
Cool indeed

Love that one too

 By: Cookies : March 7th, 2022-22:54
The bezel reminds me of a large round float. Very nautical!

Liked this titanium version

 By: Flanker : March 7th, 2022-20:53
Definitely to be tested on the wrist for the thickness but the dial is very good. Since I own a SD I a may prefer this one to the Rolex Deepsea.

I don't need it but I want it

 By: ifraher : March 7th, 2022-21:01
Maybe less intimidating to wear than the Ploprof? Same extreme vibe.

Awesome watch

 By: sschew : March 7th, 2022-23:02
I think I will buy this one to go with my POC and Hublot Oceanographics. Thank goodness they didn't make it less than 45.5mm. I just wish it was the 55 mm monster and when I talked to Omega about it they didn't seem too receptive with that one

I'm down with vintage . . .

 By: Dr No : March 7th, 2022-23:16
. . . 1 000M Seamasters . . . . . . but you'd have to be a football player to wear the latest release. Art ...

You're right a bigger than average wrist is required

 By: sschew : March 7th, 2022-23:23
How about a 6 foot tall ice hockey player?

. . . or even . . .

 By: Dr No : March 7th, 2022-23:32
. . . Bim? ...

Ha!!

 By: sschew : March 7th, 2022-23:49
He should wear that around his neck and start rapping.

😄

 By: @lberti : March 9th, 2022-08:51
Flavour FLAV?

why not?

 By: sschew : March 10th, 2022-00:01
or Bimbi Bim

:))))))))

 By: amanico : March 8th, 2022-06:41

how thick is this one?

 By: VinnieD : March 8th, 2022-08:02
you must feel like Cousteau with this one on your wrist

I'll have to check height with my pal whose brother-in-law owns the SM 1000 . . .

 By: Dr No : March 8th, 2022-16:12
. . . that I posted. As for feeling like JC with a Grand on your wrist . . . . . . it's a shame we can't ask him directly. ...

Apparently the owner of the Grand is currently out of the country but . . .

 By: Dr No : March 8th, 2022-16:36
. . . according to an eBay listing the height is specified as 14 mm. I have my doubts that's accurate, but will keep checking other sources. Art

Yes, I would assume closer to 16mm

 By: VinnieD : March 9th, 2022-07:22
thanks for checking! This is not an everyday reference

I love it!

 By: gregcarraram3 : March 8th, 2022-03:23
Too thick for me, but, gorgeous.

Very nice

 By: Cookies : March 8th, 2022-09:47
I like it so much, i actually called my AD today. I think I will have to eat bread and drink tap water for a few months to save up for this. I’ll take the titanium piece=D

Fabulous piece of engineering

 By: chintu : March 8th, 2022-13:05
This will put the Omega Ultra Deep directly in competition with the Rolex Deep Sea Dweller, and with substantially greater dive depth capability Omega is upping the stakes now with the steel as well as titanium versions and at a great price point that rep...

ouffff

 By: Weems@8 : March 8th, 2022-20:51
Heavy.

Love it

 By: agyzace : March 9th, 2022-11:42
The perfect summer watch possibly

An interesting factoid

 By: chintu : March 12th, 2022-09:58
The Ultra Deep does not use a helium release valve. The case is specially constructed to ensure that gases cannot enter!! Cheers

One question though..

 By: chintu : March 15th, 2022-05:24
Why is the Ploprof 1200m titanium case considered more complex than the Ultra Deep titanium case? If any, the Ultra Deep case does away with the need for Helium valve and does not allow gases to enter; and therefore should be more complex than Ploprof? Wo...

Any info on my question?

 By: chintu : April 6th, 2022-04:28
Requesting experts to chime in on the ploprof case vs ultradeep and why Ploprof case is stated to be more complex to produce? Thnx
