Me and the boys enjoying a fine smoke: Alan and I. We went back to his first days on Paneristi. I still have some Aussie bucks somewhere for when I visit! ...

So cool I used to live in LA, but didn’t buy my first Panerai 233 until 2009?

What strikes me as odd is the watch on the shirt... the California dial on Luminor was not an issued watch at the time???

I joined Paneristi in 2000 / 2001

My first "nice" watch was a Panerai. The community there was incredible those early years.

Oh yes!

Blast from the past.

Remember it well. I wasn’t one for GTGs until somewhat recently and so never really considered making the trip. There were some exceptions, one P-Day, and a few times in other cities and countries. It was really a crazy time, a super group all over the wo...

I flew out for that one.

I think it was the first event I attended, and really have not attended many others since.

oh wow!!! blast from the past! thanks for sharing those memories..

Don't recognize most of the guys on the pic. Well it's not that sharp. I never attended any GTGs unfortunately, but met with one or the other paneristi in London back in the days. I remember Hammer and Nad very well. I must have joined paneristi around 20...

Oh boy! So many familiar faces! The days when everyone was so excited for the upcoming GTG

I’ve attended to a bunch of them over the years and the passion was nothing else.

I was there…

…still have the shirt, and am even pictured in one of your photos. Great time.

I remember seeing these pictures of get together and always wanted to attend but never made it...too many excuses...none seem valid now.

It looks like so much fun seeing the pictures through the years. I kind of miss having a Panerai and maybe I will revisit the older models. Always loved the 233...if there is another get together locally I would definitely consider attending.
