The whole concept of these 2020 novelties escapes me....

Dear Nico,
First, thanks for this quick introduction on this PAM1108.
I feel this PAM1108 is more about the form than the content. Technically speaking, it's a great looking timepiece (indeed it's a matter of taste) but why the.....put this P.2005/T movement in it ???
For me, it's just a "show off" timepiece rather than a sincere collaboration which pursue an ecological sense. But i think i'm expecting too much from Panerai in this matter...
The Submersible Mike Horn introduced last year was more coherent imo.
About the Luminor 44mm novelties, just a few words about the 70 years warranty.
Panerai offer a 70 years warranty with these new models equiped with a standard P.9010 movement while they offer a 50 years warranty on the PAM700 (aka the LAB-ID) which was purposely designed with a P. 3001/C, an upgraded movement which requires no additional lubrication, has only 4 jewels, and so on..., and which cost approximately 50'000 CHF.
How will i feel if i was a PAM700 owner ??? You own a timepiece which stands for innovation and reliability, then Panerai offer 70 years warranty on a timepiece with a standard P.9010 !!!
I understand these 50 or 70 years warranty are more a marketing feature, but i still feel this was an awkward move from Panerai.
Thanks for reading and please share your thoughts on these 2020 novelties.
Best
Fabio
