Very nice dear Tony! It makes me feel I need to have a green dial Panerai in my collection. I also feel 44 mm is a very interesting size to have in the Panerai line.

My first Panerai was a 111 I bought in 2006 and which still own and love. It has same (so called Bettarini) case as yours. It is a very wearable size specially if you don´t feel comfortable with the larger typical and historical 47 mm size.

I also own other Pams with same 8 days movement which are very interesting and practical. Yes, they need to pass the hundred turns to arrive to its full winding. I also wind in just one direction and don´t remember now but I feel that also give around 150 turns. Fact is I don´t pay attention if it really gives a complete turn or less and this can make a difference from one owner to another. But a long winding it is! Lol!

Looks very nice on your wrist and I wish you´ll enjoy it so much.

Cheers! Abel

Another 8 day power reserve. This one only took 160 manual turns to achieve full energy. 300 m water resistance, stainless steel case, 44 mm, thanks for looking, Tony ...

+1

I used to have a 562 and let it go because the 8 days writing on the dial annoyed me, that and the p5000 while a great movement was not really enjoyable to wind, very little mechanical feel for my taste. The 911 is very tempting with it steel case and gol...

I have to ask. You wind back and forth? Your "turns" count, it's always double of mine. I only wind in one direction, though.

The plot thinckens....

it only takes me 90 to 100 turns to fully wind the 339 (P2002/7 movement)
