Here's a rare brochure, which was dleivered to all Panerai ADs in the Pre V Era, more precisely in 1996, and which was quite immediately retired, as Stallone didn't give his green light for this document...

I owned the 5 Slytech pre v watches, in the past... There were fantastic pieces, indeed... And that was funny to see them in the flesh, then on this brochure... Best, Old School Guy! LOL Nicolas

i know nothing about panerai's history, but if i were to buy one i think
i'd like to buy something from the days before they were taken over by the swiss. i assume that pre Vendome is the period i'd be looking for. what year were they taken over so at least i know what age to go for. regards Graham
